The Cage

If you ever feel down, feel like everyone is in another world, where you are in a cage, and you fear to break through. You feel like time is nothing but a hopeless thought, and place is nothing, but a lost space. You feel like there is a trace to find what would erase all that fear - heal the pain, but you can't face it, or simply just don't want to.

Hope is all you had, but you eventually lost it. Love is what you have, but your heart is hurt to feel it. Inspirations just come crashing down with negativity. You feel like you have not appreciated what you are at that moment, but when you try, the power around you puts you down. Your mind stops you, your body controls you, your soul isn't aligned with you. You have lost all what you could control, and nothing but everything simply controls you.

Everything seems shallow, and what seems deep and not hallow, is a goal you bear a fear to never achieve. Your interest in everything became just questions with no answer. You can't even question right, and you can't think of just one thing at a single moment. Your thoughts are completely blurred and rushed. You feel like the stone you are standing over is more alive than you are.

Nothing but noise, and silence in effect of the incomplete-meaningless thoughts that just overwhelm your mind. You have completely lost it, but the only thing you do is try and breakthrough this invisible cage - invisible to reality. Every time you feel was the time you were going to breakthrough, you get pushed back by nothing but you, and only one thing answers you. An answer, no one can hear you, becomes a slam in your face. You still blink, twitch, and breath, but what you see is just a flat vision with unexplained colors and positions. The moment you try again, you fall. Completely hopeless you have become.

Everything, now, suddenly stops and you feel like the world just froze. Your surroundings disappeared, and a flash of light shines on a shiny golden key, making a sound and an echo while it bounces off the floor surface four times. You walk towards it, and slowly lean to grab it, but once you touch it, you realize it is just different, so you hold it firmly in both of your hands and close your eyes until you hear something smash behind you. You open your eyes, the key is gone, but once you turn your heard you hear a sound of the cage’s rusty metal door open, and a light just flashes into your eyes.

You go out and see everything you have still, frozen, and wanting you to understand. Understand through your heart, your strong faith and vision. You begin to regain your energy, your happiness, and yourself. You wait, wait, and wait as flashbacks of you holding the key come to your mind. You feel sad the key has disappeared, but you wish to find a better one, one you can depend on. You discover the cage opened because of your desire and willingness.
